WHO WE ARE
Mission Statement
Central European Business and Social Initiative (CEBSI) is an independent non-profit, non-governmental and
non-political organization. Our mission is to pursue and promote the economic and social systems and policies
that respect freedom of a human person and are grounded in the moral order. CEBSI work is based in universal
ideals of free market, entrepreneurship, individual responsibility and solidarity. Our commitment is to
overcome prejudice and common misunderstandings over these values that sill remain in post-communist
societies of CEE region. We are engaged in organizing educational programs, seminars, conferences and public
debates. In our efforts we cooperate with renowned individuals and organizations within the CEE
region and internationally.
WHAT WE DO
The Central European Business and Social Initiative (CEBSI) brings together young entrepreneurs committed to high ethical and moral standards within the pursuit of economic excellence. Founded as an informal group in 2006, CEBSI membership is open to free-market conservative entrepreneurs and economists who are active in the fields of business and economics. Among its opening projects, CEBSI has organised expert discussions with major Slovak business and government leaders, in which members share their ideas about reconciling moral values with economic day-to-day reality. CEBSI is promoting virtues of entrepreneurship in a post-Communist countries and demonstrates that leadership and virtue are not only compatible, they are actually synonymous.
PROJECTS
Mission of Central European Business and Social Initiative is delivered through organising scholarly conferences and public seminars, hosting public lectures and discussions, research and public education, offering grants, scholarships and internships.

CALL OF THE ENETREPRENEUR
We have translated the Call of the Entrepreneur book, originally published by ACTON institute, are are organising series of ethical-entrepreneurship events.
VIRTUOUS LEADERSHIP
Guided by Alexandre Havard's book "Virtuous Leadership", that we translated and introduced to CEE readers.
